If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Trying to get along...with others, paying bills and feeling the need to live within norms
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? I do believe so. I do a lot but sometimes I say, "don't make me go there, cause it will not be pretty." I don't want to feel that need.
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? I wish people would appreciate differences and respect each other even when they don't understand.
If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? rocking babies and helping both low-income folks & doggies
Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? Both. The settling allows me to do what I love some of the time.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I'd be more willing to take a crappy job to move where I'd like to live I think...I'd still have to consider the impact moving my kids farther from family would have on them though. They keep me here.
To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? Not enough.
Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? Doing things right. I always try to do the right thing but sometimes it's really freakin' hard.
You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do? I would tell them they are wrong, why and then reconsider the respect and admiration I'd given them. I would certainly trust them less.
If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Don't be mean to others. Don't be a martyr. Live in a way that makes you happy because your happiness matters.
Would you break the law to save a loved one? Absolutely
Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity? Yep, but it requires a step back and some quiet for me to process it.
What’s something you know you do differently than most people? Rearrange the house when I clean. It feels fresher so me that way.

If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? Florida's Treasure Coast. I love it there. Spent countless time there as a child. I still love it as an adult.

Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? I have been in the past at the expense of my well being. I think I'm a good friend but refuse to do that again.
Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? If they are a really good friend you don't ever really lose touch. A good friend moving away is sadder short-term because you miss them more.
What are you most grateful for? My children.
Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? I would rather lose old memories....So long as I don't keep losing the new ones I make.
