Potty Mouthed MILF...

I got the first part of that down pat...Seems running in a puppy to be fixed with less than 30 minutes notice of an appt opening up, with a loaded cooler and a truck full of family, followed by our 5 hour foray on the football field today makes me a potty mouth. After that I ran the boy home to shower and left Z behind with J and we went to pick up the puppy from surgery and arrive back home in time for dinner with guests...this was followed by necessary pool time. I can curse like a sailor with the best of them...though that doesn't really make me best does it? lol

MILF? I'm working on that part still. I've dropped 35 lbs and am getting many more propositions, which is not the real goal by the way, but am not here yet, at least in my own eyes. I'm aiming for a lot more...Not because I want a revolving door on my bedroom but I do want to be healthier which by default makes you hotter...and seem to have stalled out.

I've been tackling the caffeine addiction and made it through a couple of days with none. For someone who likes creamy, fresh, beautiful, hot, steamy coffee all day, every day that's a feat. The beer is next...I won't be declining any happy hours but will cut that back on the days that end in "y". Saves calories, my peeps. Hell, I'm already doing veggies and fruits and little, lean meat and that has not moved the scale...I will not starve myself or make drastic changes I can't deal with long term. Nope. Won't do it. Even for the short term. I'm walking the pups which has helped but poor Sprout can't hang for more than a mile and while I planned to try out Roller Derby I have not managed to get my butt in gear yet...

NEW PLAN...I had a pup that was an awesome running partner. We could go 3-5 miles and both come home happy and relaxed. I do miss him, even though he was a horrific escape artist...So, Miss Piggy doesn't know it yet, ssshhhh, but she is about to start jogging. Sprout can still do walks on off days as I'm prone to nasty shin splints, but Layla can run...I'm out of shape so she and I can get it down together. I hate running in warm weather but it's beginning to cool down here. I prefer 30-40 degree temps for a long run which seems to run counter to all the other runners I know...hopefully by the time I'm ready for a long run it will be that cool...then Layla and I can do something fun like the Dog Jog in the spring.

I want that pre-baby body...or at least the one I had after the first one. ;)

  1. Should you still be thinking about roller derby, here's something for a little inspiration -- ahamoment.com/pg/moments/view/5312 -- a short video about the “aha moment” of a young woman who credits roller derby for saving her soul.

    Good luck -- jack@ahamoment.com

  4. Jack, you rock. I haven't given up on it...Just not quite able to get my butt to practice after working all day. lol

Lesbo, I weaned myself but in the end went from 2 cups to 0...Then swore I'd fall on my face at any minute for a few days.

And, no not giving up beer, just drinking less of it. :)

  5. Coffee is the only vice I have left, and I absolutely refuse to give it up.

I hope you have better luck running with Miss Piggy than I do with my dog. I end up dragging him most of the way - and I don't know why, because off-leash he's unstoppable.

Hey, go for it, great goals. It is also perspective. I am sure you will have plenty or propositions.

  7. Ha Ha...The propositions are flattering of course but I'm way past thinking that it really matters much in life. I want to feel great.

Camlin, we started with a Gentle Leader and had really good luck. He was smart as hell though so we'll see how Layla does.

  8. Oh, and lesbo, No (hangs head), smoking is the hardest. When I can indulge in a runner's high though it is easier.
