Working on the Stud Farm...

I am on vacation starting...Now! Yay me, you can't beat it with a thick-ass stick. I'm beginning with a couple of happy hours today and whose know how I'll wrap it up?

And here's our newest "pet." He's gotten all set up on the front porch and seems to be doing quite well for himself...The other girls in the house are not crazy about him but the son and I are. We point out that he can eat mosquitos and that alone is enought to keep him safe.
I will be working hard with the piggy this week too. I scheduled her for a thyroid check and found a great trainer for her. I've actually worked with the woman through a local rescue group I she is highly reccomended by others in the dog rescue community here as someone who is very good with agressive dogs. Don't get me wrong here...I'm sure Miss Layla is fine health-wise, but we'll confirm it and while we have gone back to basics at our house (think NILF) I want to get her firmly on track and to the next level. I have no desire to be an irresponsible owner and want her to be safe in any environment...plus it would make fostering others a hell of a lot easier!

In the meantime, we'll be hanging at our pool in the backyard, working on the newest flower bed I'm putting in, going to other pools, and who knows...That's as much planning as my brain could handle.
I'm off for a beer...Hope you are soon too! CHEERS!

Yikes, I have such a fear of spiders. I would leave him alone and stay away if it was me.

I love watching spiders. Flick tiny pieces of raw hamburger in the web.
