With children and dogs running the stories are endless...The Treat Fairy came today. You might wonder who she is. I know I did. Because Z is notorious for NEVER taking naps at school it was a magical day when she fell asleep at nap time. Since all were sleeping it seems the Treat Fairy came by while the teacher was "out of the room to go potty" and left candy for everyone. Now son was determined to burst her bubble and tried repeatedly. I winked at him and said "yeah, you wouldn't know 'cause you don't take naps!" He countered with wondering if he took a nap at home would it be possible to awake to a $20 under his pillow. Hell, depends on the day I say!
Now they are hoodlums running through the hour making one another yell...And the dogs have dug out their favorite toys - Squeak, Squeak, Squeak - No worries anyone is going to take a nap around here.

Oh man. If my kids would take naps, the treat fairy would be a regular frequenter of our house!
ReplyDeleteAs it is they help themselves to treats when I'm not looking and the days are sleepless.
At least they're starting to sleep well at night. I'll count my blessings.
When a kid, I hated naps. Now-a-days if I'm going out at Saturday night, a nap is required.
