And the girl is pleased with her new do. We hit the beach, we grilled out, spent time at the pool and helping my parents at their home. We went to the drive-Ins and ate some fast food...And the eldest turned 21.
We are moving through summer as we should. Slowly. Relaxed. Happy. And looking forward to more evenings on the deck. Enjoy it while you can peeps! Winter will be here before you know it.
In the meantime though...It's supposed to be over 100 again today. Last week I ran the hose in an effort to cool down the pool though it didn't work. So far our news tells us more people have died in Virginia of heat related illness already this year compared to all of last year. It's hard on the animals too. Keep them in and when you are out playing with them be sure they have access to shade and plenty of cold water.

OH don't I know it about winter. I am just gripping onto summer the best I can. Enjoy and stay cool!
