Dogs, Dogs, Dogs

Her stitches come out today and she should be good to go on her journey to unite with her forever family. Transport is still TBD though.

Belle is still with me (sigh...) but has someone scheduled to meet her next Thursday.

I've posted many times about Layla and her issues and how I've tried to work with her on her dog-aggression issues over time. I am very pleased to say that paying for a trainer was invaluable and giver her positive experiences (one after another, after another, after another) HAS paid off. When home, all 4 pups - Sprout, Layla & 2 fosters - are all one pack. I am not doing any rotation. They are all loose together in the house and yard all the time. This is a HUGE accomplishment for my Piggy.

Adding more complexity? Why yes, you know how I roll...D's dog came over last week for a meet and greet and spent the day one day this past weekend. She has an opportunity coming that will take her out of town for a bit so I have volunteered to dog-sit assuming we can work out the relationships. All went well and I think he'll do fine. Hopefully my fosters will be gone by then but if not I'll be outnumbered and running a 5-pack. That might mean I've earned a six-pack...Who's bring beer to the petting zoo?
